Our Business Development Manager (BDM) role is based in Kent where you would be working for this growing and well known company within the Joinery sector. They are ambitious and actively working with massive customers from London, and that’s why you should understand this commercial fit out sector. This role will bring you a real benefit in terms of experience and enhancing your career.
For this dynamic role we are looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager. You would ideally come from the Joinery office fit-out sector / fit out contractors / Design and Build. We are considering you as suitable if you have strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a clear focus on organisation. You should have a good contact book within commercial property.
B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are significant for this position. Tenacious negotiation skills, and the solid capacity of closing deals are crucial too. You will research about the market trends, and use endorsed methods to develop the business strategy. This role is highly focused on building relationships and retaining existing partners.
Professional and polished in all communications, written and spoken. Proven ability to report on sales activity and manage a sales pipeline. You’ll generate revenue by building and developing strong relationships with Commercial Agents, Project Managers, Architects and Landlords. This role is about building trust with new contacts to provide new business. Credible and articulate when presenting face to face. You enjoy being sociable, and out of the office networking in order to gain new fit out and joinery opportunities.
- Salary of £40,000 – £60,000pa (depending on experience)
- With commission – up to £50,000 – £70,000pa (year 1)
- Travel allowance
- Private healthcare & other benefits (subject to a qualifying period)
